FAQs

If you do not find the answer to your question here, please visit the General Information page for our summer camp program.

Can you accommodate my child’s dietary restrictions?
Mt Lou San is not able to accommodate dietary restrictions. You can call the office and request a menu for the week, but those on special diets must bring their own necessary supplements that can be prepared in a microwave.

How much does a week of camp cost?
Mt. Lou San uses a tier pricing system that gives families more freedom to choose what works best for their financial situation, while still providing the same unforgettable experience for every camper. (overnight programs only)

Tier 3 - $320 - (The lower amount) This tier helps ensure that finances do not prevent a camper from experiencing the benefits of a week of camp at Mt. Lou San.
Tier 2 - $350 - (The middle amount) This tier most closely reflects what it costs to provide a week of camp for one camper.
Tier 1 - $380 - (The higher amount) This tier covers the cost of camp and allows you to invest in the future growth and expansion of Mt. Lou San's programs by paying just a little bit more.

How does the discount work?
When registering your camper before advertised deadline, a $50 discount will be automatically applied to your shopping cart when a week is selected.

What are the age limits for Junior and Teen camp?
Junior campers must be at least 8 years old at time of camp and no older than 12 years old. Teen campers must be at least 13 years old at time of camp and no older than 19 years old or one year removed from high school graduation.

What does my child need to bring to camp?
This concern and many others are addressed in the General Information section of the website.

Is there a multiple child discount for families?
Mt Lou San does not offer a multiple child discount, however if you register before March 31st you will receive $50 off the total cost of camp for each registration.

Can I reserve spots for my week of camp?
By registering and paying the $50 deposit (nonrefundable) you have successfully reserved your spot at Mt Lou San! Bringing friends? Have them register too in order to ensure availability in that week. Once a week is closed it is very difficult to get a spot and you will be placed on a waiting list.

When is the balance due?
A $50 deposit is required for registration. The deposit is nonrefundable. The balance can be paid any time before camp, but will be due 1 week prior to your week of camp.

What’s the earliest I can show up for registration?
Registration will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday, please do not arrive any earlier than 1:30 pm.

When can I pick up my child at the end of his/her camp week?
The camp week ends Saturday and all parents should arrive by 9am to pick up their child.

Can my camper call home during their week of camp?
Campers are not permitted to use their cell phones at camp; if they need to make a call, a phone in the office will be made available for them.

Can my child use their cellphone as a camera?
The use of cell phones as cameras is not permitted at Mt Lou San. Disposable and digital cameras are permitted. Your camper will also have the option to purchase a cabin photo and a link with the week’s highlight video will be available on the camp website. Photos will also be placed on our Facebook page.
